Commissions
Mike is always pleased to take commissions for any bird or any combination of birds. The carving can be freestanding or wall mounted. You may choose the wood, but this is of course subject to availability. The woods used are chosen for the grain and texture that are most suitable for the bird and have to come from a sustainable source or from storm damaged trees. Some are not always available or in limited sizes, so please have a second choice in mind if you can. If the carving is a gift for a special friend or occasion it is nice to include something with individual meaning if possible. The bird can be standing on any item that you feel appropriate. If the item is unusual or if you require the bird to be standing in a certain pose, you might like to send a photo. Please give as much notice as possible if there is a dead line to meet.
