Notice is hereby
given that the
Annual General Meeting of the
British Decoy & Wildfowl Carvers Association
will be held on Sunday 12th September 2010
at the Agricultural Business Centre, Bakewell,
Derbyshire
commencing at 1 pm
Anyone wishing to present a resolution at the meeting
must in the first instance submit the
resolution in writing to the Secretary, Janet Nash, by
16th August 2010 latest.
There are two types of resolution:-
i) Changes to the rules, which require a majority of
two thirds of the members of the
BDWCA present at the meeting,
ii) Other resolutions which shall require a simple
majority of the BDWCA members
present.
In the event of any tied vote then the Chairman shall
hold an additional casting vote. |

BDWCA Web Site "Virtual Regional Group"
As you may know, we currently have six Regional Groups, but quite a lot of
our members are too far away from these groups to attend their meetings.
The "Virtual Regional Group" is the brainchild of one of those
remote members - Sally Sanford - who has kindly taken on the role of
"Virtual Group Organiser".
